Hublot × Richard Orlinski at a glance
The partnership between Hublot and Richard Orlinski started in 2017 with the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski, shown at Art Basel Miami Beach. Since then it has grown into a small collection within the Classic Fusion line, including tourbillon editions in 2019 and 2024.
The artist
Richard Orlinski is a French contemporary artist, described by Hublot's partners as the world's best-selling French contemporary artist. His style draws on Pop Art, with bright colors and angular, faceted shapes. He is known for large animal sculptures such as the "Wild Kong" gorilla in Cannes and crocodiles in the Miami Design District.

Hublot Orlinski on the secondary market
The chronographs were made in larger numbers and trade more often. The tourbillons are rare and usually change hands through dealers or auctions. For both, buyers look for the full set: box, warranty card, edition number and straps. The many facets show wear quickly, and chips on colored ceramic cannot simply be polished out.
How to check a Hublot Orlinski
- The edition number on the case back ("xx/200" or "xx/30") must match the warranty card.
- Facets on the dial, bezel and crown should be sharp and continuous. On copies, the lines often do not meet cleanly.
- Check the movement: the 2017 chronograph is automatic, the tourbillons are hand-wound with a visible tourbillon at 6 o'clock.
